Scribbles on the Go
The journey continues. Just in a different format.
Here I will share my experiences and thoughts on how the sabbatical is going.

The rest is a hill
Everything about Cali was just right. The timing was excellent as it was the exact pick-me-up I needed in these final weeks of my trip.

A break from hopping around
I had about 24 hours in Panama before settling in Cali, Colombia for a month. The change I had in energy was expected and unpleasant, but it seemed like I needed the stillness for a moment.

Fanta with no h’ice
Suriname was not part of the plan but was long overdue.

The vibe was off
I returned to Medellin but this time it felt different

It almost didn’t happen
The trip that almost didn’t happen but I am glad it did. I would not have known the limits of my body otherwise.

I see why you like it here

I went back for the culture
Cartagena.. I told you I’d be back. And it was so worth it. Except for the food poisoning you gave me.

It’s in the name
This city is my name sake and I could feel the connection as soon as I arrived. The week was filled with sand, sea and meeting new people. Creating bonds and and new experiences together and I absolutely loved it.

A frog was chilling in the bathroom
From frogs in the bathroom to poolside chilling snakes. I had a great time volunteering in at Finca San Rafael in Minca.

Cartagena… I am not done yet
Searching for enjoyment..? Cartagena is the place.

Odd one out
From a social weekend in the city to taking in nature in Colombia’s Coffee Triangle. Although, I did feel some type of way…

How I spent my first million…
A quick overview of my first week in words, pictures and money!
